Join the team
We are always interested in hearing from support workers, coordinators and nurses who want to do this work properly. Tell us about yourself and we will be in touch.
The jobs we hire for
We are a team working out of Craigieburn, supporting people across Melbourne's northern suburbs. These are the roles that make that work — you can read what each one actually does on our about page.
Support workers
These are the people you will see most, and the ones it matters most to get right. They come to your home, work to your routine, and stay long enough to learn how you like things done — and to notice on the days you are not quite yourself.
Support coordinators
A plan on paper does not look after anyone. A VSG support coordinator goes through your plan with you and works out what the funding will actually stretch to, finds people who will genuinely look after you, and stays on it until the support is working — then keeps checking that it still is.
Registered nurses
Our clinical care is led by a Registered Nurse holding a Bachelor of Nursing and seven to ten years of clinical hospital experience. Nothing complex begins until they have trained the workers on it and satisfied themselves it is safe. That is not a formality — it is the reason high-intensity support can happen at home at all.
What the work looks like
- Work close to home, across the northern suburbs
- Regular participants, not a different person every shift
- Shifts that fit around study or another job
- A team you can actually get on the phone
What you will need
Every NDIS worker needs an NDIS Worker Screening Check before they can start. Depending on the job you may also need a Working with Children Check, current First Aid and CPR, and a licence and car.
Do not let a missing certificate stop you applying. Tell us where you are up to and we will tell you what the job you are after actually requires.
Questions people ask
- Do I need experience to apply for a support worker job?
- Not always. Some of our work needs specific experience or a qualification, and some of it needs someone reliable who is good with people and willing to learn. Apply and tell us where you are up to — we would rather have the conversation than have you rule yourself out.
- What checks do I need to work as an NDIS support worker?
- An NDIS Worker Screening Check is required before you can work with participants. Depending on the role you may also need a Working with Children Check, a current First Aid and CPR certificate, and a driver's licence with a roadworthy car. If you do not have all of these yet, apply anyway and we will tell you what applies to the job you are after.
- Where would I be working?
- In people's homes and in the community, across Craigieburn and Melbourne's northern suburbs. We are based in Craigieburn, and most of our team live in the same suburbs they work in — so the travel is usually short.
- Do you offer part-time and casual work?
- Yes. Support work runs across mornings, evenings, overnights and weekends, so there is genuine flexibility in how much you take on. Tell us the hours that suit you when you apply.
